The prayer that the Prophet (PBUH) used to recite while sitting at the patient's head

It is the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to visit someone when he is ill. One of the duties of a Muslim towards another Muslim. Praying for the patient is the cause of his recovery. Nabiji sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to visit the sick and pray for him. And the patient would be cured. It has been mentioned in the hadith-

Hazrat Ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Anhu narrated that when Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam visited a sick person, he would sit on his head (next to his head) and then say 7 times:

أَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْعَظِيْمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ اَن يَشْفِيَكَ

Pronunciation: 'Asalullahal Azima Rabbal Arshil Azimi i-Yashfiaka.'

Meaning: 'I pray to Allah, the Lord of the Great Throne, for your well-being.'

Nabiji sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, if his death is not fixed, he will surely recover.' (Tirmidhi 2083, Abu Dawud 3106, Mishkat 1553)

May Allah Ta'ala grant the Muslim Ummah the tawfiq to make the mentioned supplication by sitting next to the patient in accordance with the hadith. Grant tawfiq to act on the hadith. Amen.
